who else here loves all the power-grabbing that's going on with the government? 55% ownership of Chrysler to the UAW; the promise to pay for higher education in exchange for national service; the FDIC trying to take over every kind of bank and lending institution; the new government health care plan that is meant to "compete" with private-sector health care; Chuck Schumer demanding that IHOP serve a certain flavor of syrup...

by golly, i don't think there's ANYthing the government shouldn't do! what would i do without Big Brother to take care of me?

But I just want you to know that although the word "sheet-heads" may be considered funny within the circle of your family and friends, it is very offensive to some people. It felt like a punch to my stomach and actually made me sad rather than angry.
Maybe I'm just too sensitive for I am a minority myself and because of that my husband had to defend me against some ignorant people from time to time.
Also, you never know, there might be Weezer fans in Saudi Arabia reading this thread, and can you blame if they hate Americans for it?

I feel uncool writing all this but I just had to get it off my chest.
